Some Things On My Wish List

Etude House lip concealer for creating gradient lips. I have tried the gradient lips with normal concealer. But I feel tempted by Etude's concealer made for lips, and I can imagine the result would be even better.

Etude House Cherry Lip Tint. Mainly I want it for the gradient lips. But I'd love to use it just as it is as well. Both the red and pink colour are adorable!! ^^

Etude House Princess Etoinette hightlighter and blush. These are just too cute!!! The highlighter would be nice for creating a wonderful and healthy glow. And it seems like the blush give you very pretty cheeks.
I'm really keen about trying this Love Darling Eyeliner from Creerbeauteas well. It does not smudge, nor come off easily, and yes, I'm sold!! I've read great reviews about this eyeliner, and can't wait to try it out myself.

Last, but not least.. these Liz Lisa shoes are just too adorable!!! They come in three colours: White, yellow, and pink. I think all the colours are nice. But honestly, at first I thought the white ones were the best.. but  now I really think that the yellow coloured one are too cute.

Note: I do not own any of the pictures. You can find the sources herehere, and here!

My Favourite 2 Hair Styling Products

I don't often use hair styling products for my hair. But I have my favourites for when I do. I'll start off with writing about my favourite hairspray: Fudge Urban Iced Raspberry & Vanilla with strong hold. I am a person who really can't stand the typical hairspray smell.. it makes me feel sick. Luckily enough I am very fond of the iced raspberry and vanilla scent. Another good point is that the scent won't fade away during the day. Instead your hair will smell devine for hours. one other plus is that the scent doesn't come off too strong. From their homepage it says that the hold factor is 3/5. But on my hairspray bottle it says 4/6. Whichever it now might be, it obviously has a strong hold.  The bottle promise a soft touch and anti frizz and I can not do anything else than agree. Quite frankly I don't have anything negative to say about this product, and I love how it feels light on my hair. And that is also why it is my favourite hairspray ever. It comes in a 290ml bottle, for the price of 70SEK. So if you are looking for a new hairspray, I warmly recommend the Fudge Urban Iced Raspberry & Vanilla hairspray.

Second off is the Björn Axen Urban Size Matters Volume Spray Mousse. If you, just like me, have very fine hair, this is surely a product that you'll LOVE!! ♡ It really lift your roots and give your hair great volume and fullness. Of course it suits for thick hair as well. This is a thickening mousse that will do wonders for your hair really. And I do like how you easily can control just how much or little volume to create. Another good point is the fresh smell. The bottle promises you this: hold: 4, volume: 5, and shine: 4. And I'll agree on that. I do have to warn you that this is quite a heavy styling product, and therefor you'll probably want to wash it off after a day of using it. I don't know about you, but I personally do not wash my hair every day. I'm more likely to wash it about 2 and maximum 3 times a week. And I highly recommend anyone to not wash their hair more than that. It won't do you any good. So if you, just like me don't wash your hair too often, please keep in mind that you might want to use this product with good timing of your hair washing schedule. The mousse bottle comes in 200ml, for the price of 130SEK.

Pros and cons Fudge Urban Iced Raspberry & Vanilla Hairspray: It gives your hair a light feeling, with a lovely scent. It has a strong hold and is not animal tested!! And it also has a long lasting. There are no bad points in my opinion. I give the Urban Iced Raspberry & Vanilla ★/

Pros and cons Björn Axen Urban Size Matters Volume Mousse spray: It's easy to apply, and gives your hair real fullness and volume. It has a fresh smell with long lasting. It has heating protection and is UV resistant. However I do wish it would give my hair more shine. I give the Urban Size Matters Volume Spray mousse ★/

Just An Ordinary Day

Don't really have anything special to blog about today. Right now I am watching You, me and Dupree, which I btw have seen like 5 times already (It runs on TV quite often lol...)

Haven't done anything special today as well.. just some studying and preparation for moving. I was thinking of making home made wax.. but of course I forgot to buy lemon, so perhaps tomorrow. Let's see if It will fail again or not (been trying to make home made wax maybe 3 times now.. but I suspect that my crappy condo/oven is not the best to use for making wax.. but still I won't give up.)

Recently I've felt a bit more lonely than usual. Really miss my boyfriend today. Anyway tomorrow is a new and more positive day. We all have our bad days I guess.

Skin Food "Gold Caviar Collagen Mask Sheet"

Today I tried Skin Food's face mask "Gold Caviar Collagen Mask Sheet."
Not sure, but I think I paid about 790 yen for a pack. The sheet should be left on for 10-15 minutes.
To be honest, it won't make any wonders to your skin. However it does leave your skin to feel quite soft and with a fresh look.

Pros and cons: Leaves your skin with a fresh look and quite soft skin. The bad point however is that it's heavily scented!!

Overall I like Skin Food products. Pretty good and not at all pricy.  I give the "Gold Caviar Collagen Mask Sheet"    /

Home Made Peeling

Low on cash? Tired of chemicals? Whatever your reason might here's a tip for you.
The next time you're making coffee, do not throw away the coffee grounds. Instead use it as a peeling. Eventually add some olive oil or almond oil to the coffe grounds.

I personally use it all over my body, but mainly I use it for peeling my face. This is the best peeling I've ever tried. Your skin will get a nice glow and become really smooth. So go ahead and give it a try.. I bet you'll thank me (^-^)/

✩Some Inspiration✩

As the weather is getting warmer, it is time to renew your closets.
Here are some pics from my fav. magazines Happie Nuts and Blenda (may issue), and also two pics from Egoist's Facebook page.

Enjoy

♡ I love this springs fashion ♡
It totally reflects my taste.
I don't know about you guys, but I always find so much inspiration by looking in Japanese fashion magazines. But then again, who doesn't??

FIKA

Hejsan、こんにちは、Hello!

Today I treated myself with some fika since I've been, or well, still am on a soup diet. However I do not want to think about how many calories those donuts contain. But it sure was delicious (^@^), blueberry donut, and applesauce donut. The best donuts I've ever tried though is the one's from Mister Donut. Their Pon De Ring is awesome ^^

I feel a bit bad since I haven't been updating my blog at all since my first post. But there is a reason behind it. In two weeks the courses I am taking will finish, and therefor I am having a lot of tests, essays, and an upcoming final exam. And on the same day as my final exam, I will also be moving!! Crazy.. But oh well.. I guess my mother is in a hurry lol. To be honest I don't mind having tons of things to do.. kinda enjoy it. It keeps me motivated, which is a good thing ^^

Today it is just 23 days left until I'm going back to Japan, finally!! In some ways it feels like it's quite long time left. Maybe I'm just too keen to go? (^o^) I really miss my boyfriend.. I haven't met him for 3,5 month. So it's gonna be so nice to spend time with him and his family again. This time I will be staying for almost 3 months, though I wish I could have stayed for longer.

For those of you who have been to Japan, or is staying Japan.. maybe you can agree with me about this: Time is not enough when it comes to Japan. I mean, there are so many things to see out there. Even if you do or see tons of things, you will still be able to find a lot of stuff you've been missing out on. It's like it never stops. Japan is the country where you always will be able to find something to do!! Quite the opposite of Sweden. In Swedish we usually call our country "Landet lagom." It's a bit hard to translate the word lagom directly into English. But I would say that just about enough might be a good comparison. Landet means the country. What we Swedes mean anyway is that we don't have too much, nor too little of anything.

I always find myself getting a bit bored here, and it feels like something's missing. I guess the feeling I'm having is mutual to other Swedish people's feeling who escaped to wonderful and amazing Japan

Then, until next time!
Love from Amanda

Introduction

So, this is my first post. And what could be better than starting off with an introduction? My blog is still under construction so please be patient about it's appearance
(^-^;)。。。

For the short story, just read under "about me"

Well anyway, my name is Amanda, 20 years old, soon to be 21 (in less than a month.) I live in Sweden, but spend quite much of my time in Japan where I visit my boyfriend. My boyfriend is Japanese and I met him in the autumn of 2011 during his one year as an exchange student in Stockholm. Having a long-distance relationship is quite tough but I keep my optimism. I am studying ATM via distance courses, therefor I have the opportunity to travel much . But as soon as I've graduated I'll move to Japan to attend language school.. which will be awesome I'm sure.

I am in love with food ♡ to cook and eat many delicious things.. it's heaven! And what I love about good food is that it gathers people. I'm not afraid to try out new food, even if it is something people in let's say for example Sweden wouldn't normally try. In my opinion trying food is an experience, it could be both good or bad. I do love baking as well.. however recently I haven't done it much since the stove I have right now is very bad.

Fashion and beauty is something else I enjoy much. However when being a poor student, it can be hard  to manage the money. I'm sure some of you can agree with me (^o^). Recently I started trying out natural products instead of expensive beauty products.. and surprisingly enough it works better than I expected. Actually, in my opinion it has worked better than any matching beauty products. So perhaps I'll give you some recommendations  every now and then.

I guess this introduction is enough for now. If you would have any question feel free to ask me ^-^ And thank you for taking your time to read this.

Until next time.
From Amanda
