Hey!!

How are you doing?

Recently, I've been busy as usual. And when I'm not busy, I'm not doing anything special. So therefor, I find it a bit hard to post anything here. I've only got boring things to say anyway. Lol.

I'll try to review/recommend products a bit more often. So please wait a bit :) Have a lot of products in home anyway.
My sweetie submitted the COE a couple of days ago. So now we're just waiting for it to be processed. After that I can finally apply for the visa. Apparently there weren't a lot of people at the immigration office. Luckily. Which should mean that the COE won't take long time to process. Hopefully it will be done before the high season of applying for visa here in Sweden. I think it starts from mid/end of june, or july. Which often results in visa process taking longer time.

Anyway, we are hoping for me to move to Japan, in the end of june.  I'd love to see some friends before that. But right now, I don't have any money at all. Ughh.. Which results in me not having a life. Haha. It's sad but true. Train tickets cost much. And of course meeting friends also means spending money. Money that I do not posses. Boo..

Birthday coming up on 22nd. Turning 22. Funny.
I was planning to throw some kind of farewell/birthday party. But cancelled it. The reason is simply because I don't have money. But also because I don't want to take care of everyone else, or not being able to relax at my own birthday party.

Usually, I'll try my best to make an effort for other ppls birthdays'. Buy/make birthday gifts, cakes, cards. But most of the time I won't get anything back. Have to make the cake myself, or get no cake. Get no gifts, or even a simple card. So I give up. Why bother?
Well.. I do feel like I'm getting older. Don't know if it is a good, or bad thing. But as they say, you get wiser as you age :) I hope so.

My Favourite Mascara ♡

Hejsan!

Today I thought I'd share with you, my absolute favourite mascara. I've been staying true to this mascara for many, many years. Although I really love beauty products. Which also means love to try different kinds of products. I've been sticking to this mascara throughout the years. Fiberwig from Dejavu is truly a great mascara. And I really do want to recommend it to you guys. If you can get your hands on this mascara. You should try it out.

Now, I haven't purchased Fiberwig here in Sweden for some years. But I do remember it being a lot more expensive here, than in Japan. I'm talking like 100SEK more. However, if I wouldn't have any other choice. I'd purchase it here in Sweden. Even though I'd have to pay that 100SEK extra.

What is so great about this mascara?
Well.. I LOVE it because it doesn't smudge. And you can really build up your lashes with it (as if you'd be wearing falsies). Since it contains fibers. It is super easy to wash off. All it requires is some warm water. And then, you just "pull" it off your lashes. I guess you could say that the mascara encapsulates the lashes. Even if you cry, or go for a swim, while wearing Fiberwig. It will stay right on. Just perfect. I feel like I never have to worry about my mascara coming off with Fiberwig. And I don't need any improvement throughout the day.

I think that my husbands old labmate is working at Dejavu as a researcher or something like that. If I remember correctly. So if I'm lucky, maybe we could get even more discount. Which is super nice ^^

This recent year, I've actually switched to using brown coloured mascara. Since It looks more natural. I kinda like to wear a more natural look. So it suits me better. And I think that girls with blue eyes suit way much better in brown mascara. It really enhances blue eyes.

Xoxo Amanda

Have you ever tried this mascara before? What are your thoughts on it?

If you look closely... you can actually see the fibers. Right? ^^

Review: Etude House "Happy Teatime Peach Tea Cleansing Foam", "Sleeping Facial Pack", & Skin Food "Honey Black Tea Bubble Foam".

Alright.. So I haven't been updating anything here for almost a month!!! And I am really sorry about it. Since I came home from Japan I haven't really felt any inspiration for writing. Didn't really know what to write about. But I will start updating about my everyday life.. even though it is most of the time boring as h*ll, lol!

Today I will write a review of 3 products that I use on a daily basis. They are from the korean brands "Skin Food", and "Etude House". Some of you might have heard of these brands before, or even tried 'em out. And for some of you, this might be the first time hearing about them. I personally love Skin Food.. and I actually like Etude house much. I'd like to say that they have got a lot of good beauty products, for a small price. That's always a good thing, right? ;)

From left to right: Etude House Sleeping Pack,
Etude House Cleansing Foam, And Skin Food Cleansing Bubble Foam.

The Sleeping Pack's texture is quite loose (runny), and as you might see
it's a bit transparent.

The Cleansing Foam's texture is very creamy, thick, and firm.

The Cleansing Bubble Foam is,
as you can see very foamy, bubbly.

Etude House Sleeping Pack: I really like this one. As I tend to have dry skin in bad weather conditions, I'm happy there's a pack like this. There are 3 different type of sleeping packs. I'm using the moist&firm one. Apply it after you've washed your face, go to bed, and rinse it off in the morning. It won't get easier than this. The sleeping pack has got a mild scent. A positive thing is that you only need to apply little, thanks to it's texture. I do think that it keeps your skin quite moist. I do NOT recommend this to people with very sensitive skin, as your skin might react badly to this product!

Etude House Cleansing Foam: This is a very good facial wash. I'm not sure, but it feels like a mild product. The smell is divine (peach tea). It is ridiculously easy to apply onto your face (thanks to it's creamy texture, it feels very smooth to apply). And rinsing off has never been easier. On the pack it says that the cleansing foam is nourishing and brightening. The bad point however (in my opinion) is that I feel like I need to apply a moisturizing product right after, or else my skin feels a bit dry. But still, it cleanses very well, which is very important for me.

Skin Food Cleansing Bubble Foam: I LVE this cleansing foam. From when I first bought it, til now, I'm still in love with it. lol!! It's moisturizing your skin, and also removes keratin + provides elasticity to your skin (according to what is written on the bottle). I bought this together with the honey and black tea daily cream. Unfortunately I've run out of it!! But it is also a great product.
I love the honey smell. And the bubbly, foamy foam is really nice. Easy to apply. Rinses off easy, and leaves your skin fresh.

I recommend all of these three products. And one more thing that's very nice about 'em are the packaging. Really cute!!
If you have a possibility to, you should try them. I've personally bought all of them in Japan. But I think you can order it from Ebay, Amazon (?) etc. If you have the possibility to, you should visit their shops :)

I'll try to write a new update soon again!!
Hope that you're all having a good week.

Love from Amanda (^o^)/

Sanrio Puroland

Went to Sanrio Puroland last sunday. Was actually a bit excited. But I've got to be completely honest.. as much as I love Hello Kitty, and Sugarbunnies, it was a big disappointment going to there. Unless you have got the mentality of an 5 year old, I don't see any reason to go there. DON'T waste your money. And if you still do, I'm sorry to say "I told you so". I'd recommend Disneyland anytime over Puroland really.

Then, what was so disappointing about Sanrio Puroland?
Well.. at first it seems quite nice, and the whole place is literally bright, and sweet as sugar. But after a short time, you will get bored. They don't have any interesting attractions. And what's left except for the attractions? Shops. The shops are actually quite nice. But honestly, who is going to there with the shops on their minds? It's supposed to be an amusement park, not a "shop park", right?

Me and my BF rode one attraction. Some sort of boat thing. I got so dissy, as well as him. You get to see a lot of cute characters during the ride, and high pitched, over-cute voices are talking (or screaming?) loudly. Ughhh.. I'm too old for this.. -.-"

Sanrios Puroland is simply not for adults, or even teenagers? This is an amusement park that will bring joy to the smallest. It's a very "happy, and safe" place for the kids I believe.

Another BIG disappointment for me was that the shops didn't have a single item of Sugarbunnies. Even thought they have the characters everywhere. But in the shops, not at all. I was really looking forward to purchase some plushy or other cute item of Sugarbunnies. Looked everywhere,
but it was nowhere to be found. Oh well, guess it can't be helped. I did however purchase some other stuff.

Anyway, here are a bunch of pictures from sunday's adventure.
(I didn't take any pics of the characters almost.. sorry for that. But at least you get to see some of Puroland).

Outside of Sanrio Puroland.

A Hello Kitty car :)

Me and BF bought some donuts,
and a sub after we were done with puroland.
Went to a  nearby park to eat.

Bought Hello Kitty almond cookies..

...And manju!

This bag is so cute!! It came with some strawberry cakes that I bought.

Well.. If you'd still feel tempted to go to Sanrio Puroland. You should. Perhaps it's just me who isn't childish enough anymore. This is just my opinion.
Puroland gets 2/5 from me.

Now I have to get back to my studies.
Have a good day.

100% Chocolate Cafe

Yesterday me and my boyfriend went to Meiji's cafe called "100% Chocolate Cafe". It's easy to figure out that everything on the menu contains chocolate, lol. I've been very excited to go there. Overall it was a good experience.

Berry and chocolate ice drink. It was so delicious!!!
(Sorry for the bad photo)

My boyfriend got this espresso chocolate ice drink.
Also very good!! Rich in flavour.

This was a big disappointment!! :(
It looks quite tasty, right?
And I got so excited when I saw it on the menu.
But the truth to be told, it was so, so dry, and tasteless!!
It wasn't worth the 470¥

This however was nice!!
Some kind of roll (?) with melted chocolate inside.
They give you the opportunity to choose from three different chocolate types
to put inside the roll.

I bought some different chocolates to bring home.
Each piece cost 210¥, which isn't that bad.
I think you can choose from 50 or 60 different chocolates.. which is nice.
I got the yuzu, maccha, condensed milk,
raspberry, royal milk tea, and giandjula.

Even though the cake me and my boyfriend ordered was worthless, I'd still recommend any chocolate lover to pay a visit to the 100% chocolate cafe. The chocolate iced drinks are really really good.. and just for them, I would considering going back. The "choco-roll" was nice as well. Unfortunately the chocolate waffles were sold out when we arrived. I really would have loved to try it out. Last but not least, I love that they sell different varieties of chocolate to bring home. Meiji's chocolates are very delicious.

I hope that you guys, just like me, have enjoyed this weekend much :)

My Favourite 2 Hair Styling Products

I don't often use hair styling products for my hair. But I have my favourites for when I do. I'll start off with writing about my favourite hairspray: Fudge Urban Iced Raspberry & Vanilla with strong hold. I am a person who really can't stand the typical hairspray smell.. it makes me feel sick. Luckily enough I am very fond of the iced raspberry and vanilla scent. Another good point is that the scent won't fade away during the day. Instead your hair will smell devine for hours. one other plus is that the scent doesn't come off too strong. From their homepage it says that the hold factor is 3/5. But on my hairspray bottle it says 4/6. Whichever it now might be, it obviously has a strong hold.  The bottle promise a soft touch and anti frizz and I can not do anything else than agree. Quite frankly I don't have anything negative to say about this product, and I love how it feels light on my hair. And that is also why it is my favourite hairspray ever. It comes in a 290ml bottle, for the price of 70SEK. So if you are looking for a new hairspray, I warmly recommend the Fudge Urban Iced Raspberry & Vanilla hairspray.

Second off is the Björn Axen Urban Size Matters Volume Spray Mousse. If you, just like me, have very fine hair, this is surely a product that you'll LOVE!! ♡ It really lift your roots and give your hair great volume and fullness. Of course it suits for thick hair as well. This is a thickening mousse that will do wonders for your hair really. And I do like how you easily can control just how much or little volume to create. Another good point is the fresh smell. The bottle promises you this: hold: 4, volume: 5, and shine: 4. And I'll agree on that. I do have to warn you that this is quite a heavy styling product, and therefor you'll probably want to wash it off after a day of using it. I don't know about you, but I personally do not wash my hair every day. I'm more likely to wash it about 2 and maximum 3 times a week. And I highly recommend anyone to not wash their hair more than that. It won't do you any good. So if you, just like me don't wash your hair too often, please keep in mind that you might want to use this product with good timing of your hair washing schedule. The mousse bottle comes in 200ml, for the price of 130SEK.

Pros and cons Fudge Urban Iced Raspberry & Vanilla Hairspray: It gives your hair a light feeling, with a lovely scent. It has a strong hold and is not animal tested!! And it also has a long lasting. There are no bad points in my opinion. I give the Urban Iced Raspberry & Vanilla ★/

Pros and cons Björn Axen Urban Size Matters Volume Mousse spray: It's easy to apply, and gives your hair real fullness and volume. It has a fresh smell with long lasting. It has heating protection and is UV resistant. However I do wish it would give my hair more shine. I give the Urban Size Matters Volume Spray mousse ★/
